Next project - hat making!!  Here is my first attempt at Millinery!!  
Reversible hat for size 3 - 4  year old.  Removable flowers on band!   Kinda cute!

A bag for April

So it's June and it's the beginning of our birthday 'season'.  Time to get sewing.   First is some thing for a 9 year old neice.... uummm... shoulder bag???    So borrowing a pattern from Karen, shrunk it so it's more child size and started cutting.

Using an old pair of jeans and some cute fabric from the old stash, the machine and the grey matter had a good work out (this was my first attempt at a bag), as I had no instructions on how to put it together!!  eeekkk....

After my first attempt, I cracked out the big guns (over locker!) and made another four!!

A little about us... Donna and Karen met at playgroup.  We have kids 'around' the same age and like to make.  After Karen purchased a screen printing kit, we just played around with fabric, prints and ideas and started making clothing, bags, fabric etc etc.
